Peloponnesian War

Between 431 to 404 BC, this war was fought between the two leading city-states in ancient Greece, Athens and Sparta. Each stood at the head of alliances that, between them, included nearly every Greek city-state. The fighting eventually engulfed virtually the entire Greek world. It weakened Greece so badly that the country did not regain its independence again until more than 2,000 years later.

This is a one-off video by Kings and Generals. Among their many videos, we selected the ones on major wars and grouped them here.

Our goal in presenting these videos on this website is to select the best ones and arrange them in an orderly presentation. Here’s more videos on History Moments by Kings and Generals.
