This series was produced by Russian television and was titled “The Great Patriotic War”. In my opinion (Jack Le Moine) it meets objectivity standards normally seen on reputable documentaries produced in The West. The Russian Front was arguably the most important front of the war but it has not received the attention it deserved in The West. This series is important in bringing this story to us.

The series is narrated in Russian with English subtitles. An English language version of this series is now being carried by Amazon Prime’s streaming service.
