As FBI Director James Comey’s celebrated testimony to Congress enters the history books, let’s pause a moment to pity his unique situation.

During the election one of the candidates lied regularly, treated cyber security with indifference, misled, deceived, and evaded the questions pertaining to Russian hacking. And that was just the Democrats’ nominee. Then there was the Republicans’.

With both nominees laying down all of those minefields, we can pity Comey for stepping on a mine or two.
