Ever go into a library and wish you could read a whole lot of the books? Now you can. Right here.

At History Moments, we take selections from the great books and break them down into five minute segments. These are presented as a daily series. Read one segment a day and pretty soon you’ve read the entire selection.

We present videos from YouTube, too. They tend to run longer than five minutes but what can we do?

We want to present more:

• double the number of selections.
• Original material.
• Original videos.
• selections from recent historians (but obtaining rights to material still under copyright costs money).

Which brings us to the question of finances. We want to take the site to the next level but we cannot until we get some — money that is.

Can you help? Can you suggest someone we can contact who can?

This already the best history site on the web. Where else can you find the greatest historians of the past? Many of them are forgotten and their works hard to find.
