Soviet Solar Mission

From our Humor Department:

An announcement is made about the new Soviet space program: a mission to send a man to land on the sun.

Reporters asked, ‘But Mr Brezhnev, the cosmonauts will burn up!’

He answered: ‘Do you take me for a fool? They’ll be landing at night!’

Leonid Brezhnev was head of the Soviet Union from 1964 to 1982.
