New Year’s Eve, 2015

Today is New Years Eve.

As 2015 Recedes Into History

Dumbest Politics of 2015:

Donald Trump’s various (and many) personal attacks.

The Democrats who said “all lives matter” and then apologized for saying that.

The U.S. President who insists that he had an agreement with the Iranians all the while the Iranian Supreme Leader who insists he does not. If you do not understand this, here’s a hint: an agreement has to have both sides actually agreeing.

Judges who let attorneys represent unborn children but even this looses to the even more stupid judges who let attorneys sue pieces of property so as to get around the Constitutional rights of the property owners.

Planned Parenthood’s abortion practices, it’s officials who said all that stuff about baby parts, their subsequent claims about doctored recordings, and dumbest of all, the journalists who just scarfed PP’s claims all up.

Vladimir Putin of Russia who supported Iran’s nuclear program. Persia has historically conquered north and west. Moscow is a lot closer to them than Washington is.

China’s government who supported North Korea’s nuclear program. Same absence of basic logic as Russia, above.

Bill O’Reilly who told George Will on air that he did not interview people close to Reagan for his book “because they have skin in the game.” Historians should not interview people who have an interest? Huh?

And finally, this ABC News video — their view of the important news of 2015. Natural disasters, crime — this takes up 60% of the video, if it bleeds it leads. Politics and government are crammed into just a few seconds while major events in science, literature, or art get no seconds at all. With the establishment press this stupid, no wonder people like Donald Trump are able to gather support.

That’s it for 2015 at History Moments. Look for past years’ round-ups at the tag-link below. How we miss you Jibb-Jab!

Have fun tonight. Happy New Year!
