Christmas Eve, 2015

by Jack Le Moine

Xmas-EveSince we are in the midst of Justinian’s great project, I want to share with you a special idea for history: the Twitter Feed @cryforByzantium by Sean Munger.  Four times a day, a tweet comes out from one of the Byzantine Emperors.  What a great idea!  Short, entertaining, and educational, too.  Talk about the ultimate you-are-there.

He also has a blog.  Here he shows that the Byzantines celebrated Christmas on December 24th.
