To Our Comment Writers

Believe it or not, this blog still is not ready for its “Grand Opening”, so I was surprised both pleasantly and unpleasantly with the number of folks who registered for it. The pleasant part is those of you who sent real, sincere comments my way. Thank you!

The unpleasant part was the spammers. This is my first experience facing large volumes of spammers. I know business and I know marketing. Do you spammer guys realize how much negative goodwill that you generate with this? I really hate to be strict but this stuff is detrimental to both my own efforts and yours.

To those who have signed up checking the send e-mail box, my sympathies particularly go out.  I’ve received this advice from CopyBlogger:

Hello Jack,

Great question, I am happy to help you!

Visitors who have checked the box for comments, can turn notifications off in their email they receive from your site when a comment is made.

I do hope this helps, please let us know if you have further questions.

Thank you for being a part of the StudioPress community!

I have placed more restrictions on comments. I want more people commenting and I want my subscribers to be protected. Tradeoff dilemma, indeed!

We now have a Contact Form.  Send your problems and questions to me direct.

To those who want to be guest writers on this blog – Welcome! Please submit your material to my e-mail address found at my website.
